This summer, travellers between Stockholm/Helsinki and Tallinn can enjoy a unique onboard exhibition celebrating Ilon Wikland’s artistry – part of her 95th birthday tribute. It is featured on the Tallink cruise ships Victoria I and Baltic Queen.
The exhibition tells her full story: from being born in the 1930s Estonia, her escape to Sweden as a refugee in 1944, to her rise as one of the most loved illustrators of our time. A magical experience at sea for young and old – with Ilon’s artwork, cosy reading corners, and creative drawing stations for future little illustrators.
There are also chances to win prizes from Ilon’s Wonderland – and for those who don’t win, unique souvenirs illustrated by Ilon can be found in the onboard shops.
A perfect activity if you’re travelling by ferry – or a warm-up before your visit to Ilon’s Wonderland in Haapsalu.
⏰ Open until:
– August 10, 2025 on Victoria I (Helsinki–Tallinn)
– August 21, 2025 on Baltic Queen (Stockholm–Tallinn)
